As you step onto the property, you’ll be greeted by the White Chapel Gazebo, where a quaint bridge traverses a serene creek, adorned with vintage lampposts that illuminate our path with a romantic glow. Inside the Reception Hall, our cherished space awaits, adorned with wooden tables, customizable uplighting, and a welcoming 12-foot granite bar.

Should the Texas weather surprise us, the Atrium beckons with its floor-to-ceiling glass walls and inviting fireplace. And let’s not forget our Wedding Party House, a sanctuary where cherished memories are made, boasting spacious lounges, a fully equipped kitchen, and all the luxurious amenities to prepare for our big day. With its harmonious blend of natural landscapes and thoughtfully curated details, Willow Creek stands as a testament to our love story, offering an unforgettable backdrop for the beginning of our forever together.

WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?

We’re not strict about dress code – we just ask that guests wear something nice that makes them feel good and festive! Basically, if you’d wear it to a nice dinner or celebration, you’re good to go. For the little ones: if they’d enjoy it, kids are more than welcome to dress as princes, princesses, or in fantasy-inspired outfits – we’d love to see their magical flair! Adults are welcome to lean into the whimsy too if you feel inspired.

WHAT WILL THE WEATHER BE LIKE?

October in Waxahachie, TX generally offers a pleasant autumn climate with cooling temperatures compared to the summer months. Historical data shows that you can expect an average temperature of highs around 78°F during the day.

WHERE IS THE CEREMONY, COCKTAIL HOUR AND RECEPTION TAKING PLACE?

The entire wedding day will be held at Willow Creek Wedding & Event Venue in Waxahachie, TX – 415 S Westmoreland Rd, Waxahachie, TX 75167.

WILL THE CEREMONY & RECEPTION BE INDOORS OR OUTDOORS?

The ceremony will be held outdoors (weather permitting), and the reception will be held indoors.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE CEREMONY?

After the ceremony, we’ll be taking some family and wedding party photos nearby. Meanwhile, guests can enjoy a relaxed cocktail hour with a charcuterie spread and drinks. Once the reception begins, there will be dinner, dancing, and a few fun surprises and activities!

WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE?

We recommend that you arrive 15-20 mins before the start of the ceremony to make sure everyone is on time, and you are not rushed to park and get to your seat. The ceremony will begin at 2:00 PM CT!

WHERE SHOULD GUESTS PARK? IS PARKING FREE?

Self-parking is free and available at the venue.

CAN I BRING MY KIDS?

Yes – children are welcome, just be sure to include them in your RSVP and answer the follow-up questions so we can plan accordingly. Parents are responsible for supervising their little ones, and the Bridal House will be available for quick breaks if needed.
